Bookish resolutions for 2016

I am 4 days late for this. But don't blame me I haven't been feeling well D: And am I the only one feeling affected by this recent cold weather??? I'm wearing my thickest cardigan and it's still not enough and I see people in tank tops and shorts??? Singapore is weird.

This is gonna be a quick post I hope, because while I was sick-ish, I haven't been reading much so I need to catch up on that. My goal for 2015 was to read 100 books which was a flop because some books gave me really bad reading slumps. *cough*City of Ashes*cough*City Of Glass*cough*

1. Read 70 books.
I think I can do this. Going for quality instead of quantity, and I think it should be fine for me, considering how thick books are almost always genres that I don't read O:

2. Read less contemporary.
Okay this may be a little contradicting to my above point. Yes, I read mostly contemporary, and they are never anything above 350 pages. Very rarely they are. But this year, I think I should step out of my comfort zone and read less of my favourite genre. With that said...

3. Read more classics.
The only classics I've ever read were Alice In Wonderland, Through The Looking-Glass and Wuthering Heights, this being read about 8 years ago so I don't remember much???

4. Read fantasy.
I need to read fantasy, period. I've gotten the first Harry Potter book for myself at Bookfest last year, so I'll start off with that! I told myself I wouldn't read this series but.... I just have to try, right?

5. Write more reviews.
I am currently the top 6th reviewer in Singapore this month, on Goodreads, recently being only the 8th. It's a huge accomplishment! Yeah I don't get money or anything out of it, but still. It's motivating me to write more reviews on this little book blog of mine :3

That's all for today, need to catch up on my reading. Til next time!
